BROWN COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — After being closed for several days due to the effects of recent weather, Brown County State Park is scheduled to open for some activities and services Monday only.
According to a press release from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, guests can participate in day use activities like sight seeing, fishing, and picnicking.
Campground, cabins and the Abe Martin Lodge will remain closed through at least Monday.
Guests who visit must bring their own drinking water due to the current water conditions at the park. Closure of overnight facilities is to be evaluated by watching rainfall, lake conditions, and water test results.
