It’s history within history.
The Bridgeton Rendezvous held their 26th annual event that celebrates … history.
Re-inactors dress and live like they would back in the 1750s through the 1840. Folks who came out could watch muzzle loader shooting competitions, a canoe race on Raccoon Creek, primitive archery and knife and tomahawk throwing.
“The purpose of a rendezvous is to promote history and have a greater understanding of it, by re-inacting, it’s a hands on interpretation,” participant Celia Case said.
Rendezvous continues tomorrow in Bridgeton from 9 a-m to 4 p-m.
