PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Lots of local people are getting their holiday shopping started at the Bridgeton Country Christmas.
The annual shopping celebration got underway Friday in the town of Bridgeton.
There are more than fifty vendors at the event.
People are looking for unique gifts, while enjoying live music and the Christmas spirit in historic Bridgeton.
“A lot of people like it because it’s more of a one-on-one experience. You can take time and actually look at the merchandise and converse with the people who made it, and ask them questions because we do have a lot of handcrafters here,” says organizer Celia Case.
Bridgeton Country Christmas continues through this Sunday and then takes place again next weekend, December 6 through December 8.
On Saturdays and Sundays from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M., children will find Santa at the 1822 Case Log Cabin.
