BRAZIL, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — If you’re looking for some July 4th plans, the Brazil Rotatry Club is hosting their celebration.
Due to COVID-19, the usual week of events has been condensed to three days, starting Friday, July 3.
However, there won’t be any carnival rides this year. But, you can enjoy live entertainment, food booths, and fireworks.
Members of the rotary club said despite the changes this year, they’re glad the event can still go on.
“It’s all about freedom, let freedom ring. Independence, the rights and responsibilities that come with that and it’s a celebration of that. So, we’re just really happy to be able to do that with the community,” said Rob Dispennett of the Brazil Rotary Club.
Events will kick off Friday and Saturday at noon, with fireworks on Saturday at 10 p.m.
Sunday events kick off at 11 a.m. All events are taking place at Forest Park.
