Brazil band cancels concerts after member tests positive for COVID-19

BRAZIL, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A local city’s community band has canceled the rest of its concert season after one of its members tests positive for COVID-19.

The Brazl Concert Band Director Matthew Huber says after a member tested positive, and after consulting with the city and its band officers, they have decided to cancel the rest of the 2020 concert season.

This includes the concert scheduled for Sunday night, August 2.

Huber says the band feels this is in the best interest of its musicians and audience. They are looking forward to next year’s concert season.
