Bracelets for Pitts

News

Officials say the response for the bracelets has been overwhelming, with supplies running out within days of receiving orders.

On each bracelet is a thin blue line, with the words, “Officer Rob Pitts… Badge Number 196”.

An estimated 5 thousand bracelets have already been sold and with another 5 thousand just coming in Monday.

And hope to get a couple thousand more by the end of the week.

“The thing we want people to remember we couldn’t do this without their help,” Officer Ryan Adamson said. “It takes a community for this kind of stuff to happen. It doesn’t take a police department, right? It takes the community. So without a great community, without community support this bracelet effort would go nowhere. So we are thankful for our community. We are thankful they are coming out and buying these bracelets and we look forward to our continue partnership with that.”

If you would like to show your support, you can purchase a bracelet, at the Terre Haute Police Department’s records room.

You can stop by Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

They are two dollars a piece, and please pay in cash only.
