A wild animal sighting has many in the area curious about a large cat.
Pictures of the bobcat were posted recently. They wre taken just outside the new location of the Sycamore Winery in West Terre Haute.
Winery owner Daniel Pigg took the photos.
He says there have been many bobcat sightings, but this was the first sighting in broad daylight.
According to DNR, bobcats are solitary and typically move around at night.
While they’re the only “resident native” wild cat in Indiana, they are most common in the southern part of the state.
