Bethesda Gardens hearing set for April 5

Terre Haute, IN - A court hearing took place Tuesday regarding the state's request for an injunction against Bethesda Gardens.

Surveyors from the Indiana State Department of Health visited the facility after a memory care resident was found outside in the cold and later died.

The state surveyors say they found the facility was providing nursing care to residents that it's not licensed to provide.

In court Tuesday, a Bethesda Gardens attorney said they are working on a resolution in the case.

Both parties will meet back in court on April 5 for a status conference.
