According to a new survey traditional choices may not be the best options for retirees.
The survey, conducted by bank.rate.com, has ranked the best and worst states for retirees.
Seven factors made up the survey; those include cost of living, weather and health care quality.
According to the experts the top spot to retire is South Dakota while the lowest goes to New York.
And in case you’re wondering Indiana ranked 22nd and Illinois ranked 44th out of 50.
