Benefit for Sullivan Co. Humane Society

The Sullivan County Humane Society is hosting its 7th annual Spayghetti Dinner and Silent Auction tonight (November 10).

It’s taking place from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Crossroads Community Church in Sullivan.

Dinner includes a salad, roll, spaghetti and dessert.

There will be dozens of baskets up for auction.

The best part is all the proceeds raised will go toward taking care of homeless animals.

“We get a lot of heartworm positive dogs, so it helps with their treatment, spay and neuter, and get the animals out. We microchip. We vaccinate. We do everything that we can to provide for these animals,” says Jonnie Jordan, an Animal Care Technician.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids, and children ages three years or younger get to eat for free.

There’s also something new this year: online bidding in the auction. Online bidding will last until 7:30 P.M. After that, you can continue bidding at the event itself.

To place a bid online, just go to the Humane Society of Sullivan County’s Facebook Page.
