Arrest made in connection with Sunday’s hit and run

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Terre Haute Police Department made an arrest Thursday in connection with a hit and run that occurred Sunday morning, according to a tweet from Sgt. Ryan Adamson.

Gordon Vanderbilt faces charges of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in catastrophic injury and criminal recklessness. Bobbi Jo Stevens was in the area of 12th and Lockport early Sunday morning when she was struck by a car.

Police initially said Stevens was flown to an Indianapolis hospital in critical condition, but Monday said her condition is stable.
