Folks at Indiana State University want to make sure people are informed about their health and that it should be a top priority.
That’s why tonight they decided to hold a “Mini Medical School.”
And, while it’s not quite the type of medical school that can help land you a career in medicine, it does educate folks in the community on several different topics regarding health concerns, risks and treatment.
Tonight’s focus was on heart health.
This was the university’s 23rd annual event, and they say it’s a great way for the community to learn and hopefully to change their lives.
The university has several other sessions planned by the Mini Medical School to take place from now to the end of April.
