MARSHALL, Ill. – Friends of Marshall Public Library welcome Larkfield Glass, owned by Randy and Joy Turner near Paris, Illinois, as this year’s featured membership program.
The program will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 13th in the library’s Dale McConchie meeting room.
Randy is a glassblower with Joy, his wife, who assists with running the business. Randy began blowing glass more than 20 years ago. His glass work includes paperweights, Christmas ornaments, candy dishes, vases, plates, fish and more! Several of Randy’s glass pieces are on display in the library the month of June.
Don’t miss this once-a-year program highlighting the many accomplishments of the Friends of the Library. The goal of the Friends group is to raise membership funds and apply for grants that support library programs and events.
