By the looks of it a lot of people really enjoyed their Fourth of July holiday.
So much that their pets were scared by all the noise.
We checked in with the Terre Haute Humane Society, they report an influx of animals yesterday.
Luckily, some were quickly re-united with their owners.
Shelter managers expected more pick-ups today.
On a normal day, the humane society might get five animals at most.
But after the Fourth and the fireworks, they took in around 15.
If your pet is missing make sure you actually go to the shelter to check.
Remember, unclaimed animals will be put up for adoption.
