All-way stop coming to Terre Haute

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– A new stretch of pavement along North 25th Street is causing residents of the area to complain to city government.

Vigo County Commission President Brad Anderson said there have been complaints of drivers speeding and endangering children that walk to nearby schools.

During a regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday, commissioners agreed to put an all-way stop at the intersection of East Dexter and North 25th streets.

Anderson said the installing the signs should only take a day, but the project itself could take up to a week.
