After record-breaking numbers, COVID-19 cases down consistently over last two days in Indiana


INDIANAPOLIS, Ind,. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Indiana State Department of Health reports a total of 860 Hoosiers have been newly diagnosed with COVID-19 Sunday.

To date, 62,372 Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

A total of 2,706 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 8 over the previous day.

Another 197 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by ISDH and occurred over multiple days. 

A total of 701,311 tests have been reported to ISDH, up from 690,274 on Saturday.
