The November General Election will be here before we know it and one Indiana organization  is helping Hoosiers get prepared to hit the polls.

On Monday night, a voter training session took place at the First Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Terre Haute.

It was hosted by indivisible Indiana 8th District.

The purpose was to educate people on voter registration and to encourage stronger voter turnout in the upcoming election.

“We feel that we are underrepresented in the statehouse and nationally, so therefore we’re trying to engage people in the process,” said Lavonne Dodson of the Indivisible Indiana 8th District.

At the event, people got to learn how to operate voting machines, learn how to register, and why it’s important to vote.

Just a reminder to all voters across the Wabash Valley, the General Election will take place on November 6th.
