Local law enforcement is trading in their badges for fishing reels, for an annual tournament and honoring of a fallen brother in uniform.
The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department, along with the Indiana Sheriff’s Association, have announced the 7th Annual Sheriff Robert “Buck” Stogsdill Open Bass Tournament.
The tournament is named after the late Sheriff “Buck“ Stogsdill, former Brown County Sheriff who passed away in 2011.
The tournament will be held September 22, 2018, at Lake Monroe- Cutright Ramp, with takeoff at 7:30 a.m.
The registration fee per team is $125.00 – this includes BIG BASS!
At weigh-in, there will be a huge raffle, with food and drinks for all participants. Coffee and donuts will also be served at the shelter house during the morning hours.
All proceeds benefit the ISA’s Line of Duty Death Benefit, Youth Leadership Camps and Scholarship Programs.
For tournament information contact Tournament Director Keith Kelly at 812-392-2889 or 812-592-2069, or visit www.indiansheriffs.org or the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association Facebook page.
