If you use the highway 641 bypass near I-70, you could encounter some traffic pattern changes.
Beginning on or after Thursday, May 18, weather permitting traffic will be shifted onto the new State Road 641 northbound lanes.
The Indiana Department of Transportation says the shift is happening so that the contractor can finish work on the southbound lanes between Margaret Avenue and I-70.
In addition, three ramps will also open at exit 11. This includes the I-70 eastbound ramp to State road 641, the I-70 westbound exit ramp to U.S. 40 north and the I-70 eastbound exit ramp to U.S. 40 north.
