19 Arrested After Multi-County Drug Investigation

19 people have been arrested as a result of a several month-long investigation into multiple Valley counties.

On July 25th, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office and the Vigo County Drug Task Force concluded a several month long investigation into the distribution of multiple pound of methamphetamine into the Clay, Parke and Vigo county area.

The investigation began in late 2016, when Gabriel Pearce, 41, of Brazil, was arrested for being in possession of methamphetamine level 2 felony in Clay County.

May of 2017, Bryant Mahurin was arrested for possession of methamphetamine level 3 felony in Vigo County.

May of 2017, John Gerrard, 31, of Brazil, was arrested for level 3 dealing and possession of methamphetamine in Clay County.

May of 2017, Dusin Fontanyl, 30, of Brazil, was arrested for level 3 felony possession of methamphetamine in Vigo County.

June 2017, Kimberly Haddon, 55, of Brazil, was arrested for dealing methamphetamine level 4, and possession of methamphetamine in Clay County.

July 2017, Christopher Rust, 44, of Brazil, was arrested for Dealing Methamphetamine level 2 felony and possession of methamphetamine in Clay County and Possession of methamphetamine level 3 felony in Vigo County.

July 2017, Matthew Hoskins, 36, of Brazil, was arrested in Putnam County for Dealing methamphetamine, level 2 felonies and possession of methamphetamine. Hoskins is also pending cases in Clay County for 2-counts of dealing methamphetamine and 2 counts of level 3 possession of methamphetamine.

July 2017, Justin Reedy, 29, from Vigo County was arrested in Putnam County for possession of methamphetamine.

July 2017, deputies from the Parke County Sheriff’s Office went to a residence in rural Marshall, Indiana to serve an active arrest warrant out of Vigo County for Savannah Green, 23, of Rockville. While at the residence, deputies conducted a search of the residence and located methamphetamine and paraphernalia. Ronald Delp, Jr., 34 of Rockville, was also arrested based on the items located in the search. Both subjects are being charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Nuisance.

July 2017, Shaun Clark, 37, of Brazil, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, level 2 felony, and possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon.

July 25, 2017, Susan Burrows, 35, of Brazil, was arrested for possession of marijuana during the execution of a search warrant at her Brazil residence. Dakota Martin, 27, of Brazil was also arrested for possession of marijuana during the execution of this search warrant.

A second search warrant was executed in Clay County at Kristie Whitlock and Joseph Stearly, 44, residence located in Brazil, Stearley and Whitlock were both arrested for level 6 felony possession of methamphetamine.

Parke County Sheriff’s office executed a search warrant residence in Mansfield, Indiana. During the search, Heidi Harper, 34, of Mansfield, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Nuisance and Obstruction of Justice. David Jason Ziemendorf, 39, of Mansfield, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Nuisance. Taylor Talbot, 34, of Brazil, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana and Visiting a Nuisance.

The Parke County Sheriff’s Office went to a residence on State Road 59, by Mansfield, to investigate possible drug activity occurring at the residence. Ronald Crowder, 59, of Mansfield, was arrested for Maintaining a Nuisance, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia.

During this investigation, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office and Vigo County Drug Task Force have seized approximately two pounds of methamphetamine and three firearms.

The Parke County Sheriff’s Office, Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, Indiana State Police, Clay City Police Department, DEA Evansville Office, Vigo County Prosecutor’s Office, Putnam County Prosecutor’s Office, Clay County Prosecutor’s Office, Parke County Prosecutor’s Office and the Clay County Probation Office .
