TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Two people were treated for smoke inhalation after a Terre Haute house fire Monday afternoon.

Firefighters responded to the blaze at 1113 Kussner St. shortly before 1:30 p.m. Monday, and expected to have the fire fully extinguished by late afternoon.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation; however, residents of the home believe it may have been caused by a burning candle.
The residents also reported their family dog had been rushed to the vet after severe burns and the cat has not been seen since the fire started.
