CLARK County, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) – Sherriff’s deputies in Clark County, Ill. were sent to a single-vehicle crash where the driver was pronounced dead early Saturday morning.
According to Clark County Sheriff Bill Brown, deputies were notified of the crash at 6:45 a.m. near Arbuckle and Slater roads. Brown said the driver, identified as Chase Switzer, 36, of Marshall, ran off Arbuckle.
The sheriff’s office and the Clark County coroner are investigating the wreck.
