Technology Matters-Reading Material

Technology Matters

Lyft users will see something new soon.  The ride-sharing outfit is shaving it’s signature mustache and replacing it with a dashboard device called “amp.”
The dashboard “glowstache” was a mini-me to the large pink mustache Lyft drivers tied to their grill until last year.
The amp is an oval-shaped light box Lyft says will help riders find the right vehicle on dark or crowded streets.
Riders will be told to look for a specific color on the dashboard.
Amp debuts New Year’s Eve on the left and right coasts.

Remember the mystery dress, now there’s these flip flops.  Are they blue and black, or blue and brown?  Some suggest blue and gray and even white and gold.
    My brain hurts.
There’s no black and white answer to this one.

Reading material for a cold winter’s night.  “Designed by Apple in California‘ is a hardbound book showcasing 20 years of Apple’s designs with 450 images.
The book begins with the 1998 iMac, ending with the 2015 Apple Pencil — a stylus for the iPad Pro.
The small book is 199-dollars, the larger version 299-dollars

A reminder for you iPhone Six S users.  Apple is replacing batteries for free.  A handful of phones have been shutting down for no apparent reason.  This isn’t a safety issue.

And finally, the Apple “peach butt” is back.  Do I need to explain?  A change to the apple emoji really hacked off a lot of people.  The new emoji is similar to the original with just a slightly longer stem.
Now I can finally sleep well.
