Buying one would help Apple.
The tech big boy reported revenues of 50 billion, below forecast estimates of 52 billion. All this down from last year’s 58 billion.
iPhone sales declined by 16 percent and revenues by 18 percent. iPad sales down 19 percent and Mac’s tumbled 12 percent.
Apple still sold a gazillion devices, so they won’t be seeking protection from creditors.
While big companies are floating in cash, many have to manage their money wisely. Now there’s good news for low-income families looking for affordable Internet.
A-T-and-T has a plan to offer Internet access for as little as five-dollars-a-month.
Any home where at least one person receives food stamps will be eligible for the new program.
The five-dollar plans gets you 3 megabits per second. Faster 5 or 10 megabits will cost 10-dollars a month.
Installation and equipment fees will also be waived.
You’ll automatically be assigned the fastest speed available.
The low cost access is part of a deal A-T-and-T made with the F-C-C when it merged with Direct TV last year. The pricing is available through 20-20.
