TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The updated Vigo County School Corporation COVID-19 dashboard reports steady, encouraging numbers. Though four student positives is one more than the three last week, the three staff positives are down one from the four last week.
Other numbers are even more positive. The number of actively quarantining students is 75, down from 92 last week, while staff actively quarantining dropped from 23 last week to 10 this week.
On the video above, Dr. Rob Haworth discusses how VCSC can bring more students into its buildings in the future. The corporation will continue to have a measured, careful approach to its educational model that engages the entire community, including school staff.
The district reminds families to continue assessing their child each day for symptoms of COVID-19 to keep our community safe.
