Indiana health officials report total of 56 confirmed COVID-19 cases; 380 people tested statewide

INDIANAPOLIS —The Indiana State Department of Health reported 17 new positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the number of Hoosiers diagnosed to 56. Two Hoosiers have died.

COVID-19, has been confirmed in 22 Indiana counties, according to the Indiana State Department of Health. Counties reporting new cases are Owen, Tippecanoe and Wayne. Marion County has 19 confirmed cases, the most in the state.

A total of 380 people have been tested statewide.
