INDIANAPOLIS, In. (WTWO/WAWV) — On Sunday, the Indiana Department of Health announced that 6,844 additional Hoosiers have tested positive for COVID-19. That brings the total of cases to 251,587 following corrections made to Saturday’s dashboard.
22 new deaths are confirmed in the state. Including one new death reported in Greene County. The total deaths are now 4, 660. Another 250 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnosis in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by the state and occurred over multiple days.
As of Sunday, 1,938,289 individuals have been tested in Indiana. This is up from 1,917,951 on Saturday. A total of 3,536,082 tests, including repeat tests for individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26.
