TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Area hospitals will begin screening all visitors Monday to protect against the coronavirus.
Terre Haute Regional Hospital as well as Union Hospital in Terre Haute and Clinton will limit patients to two visitors at a time.
“If a patient is displaying symptoms such as fever or respiratory distress, measures will be taken to respond appropriately to the patient’s needs and limit exposure to other individuals,” Regional Hospital said.
According to Union Hospital, anyone who has a fever or respiratory infection; anyone who has traveled to restricted country in the past 14 days; or anyone who has had contact with a known or suspected COVID-19 patient should avoid the hospital facilities.
