The 2023 theme for World No Tobacco Day is “We need food, not tobacco”. The global campaign aims to raise awareness about alternative crop production and marketing opportunities for tobacco farmers and encourage them to grow sustainable, nutritious crops.
To raise awareness and promote tobacco prevention and cessation, Tobacco Free Vigo and VOICE will be holding food drives throughout the county on Wednesday, May 31st. For more information check out their website.

9 am-11 am – AmVets Post 222, 65 S. Schley Pl., West Terre Haute – benefitting Providence Food Pantry
1 pm-3 pm – 1403 Chestnut St., Terre Haute – benefitting 14th and Chestnut Community Food Pantry
10 am-4 pm – Chances and Services for Youth at 1101 S. 13th St., Terre Haute – benefitting Terre Haute Catholic Charities
