MYSTIC, Conn. (WTWO/WAWV) — Hundreds of thousands of people visit the mystic seaport museum in a year, but not many can match the enthusiasm Gregory Zimmerman had when he visited the museum this week.
The 85-year-old Chicago native has been building model ships for decades, a hobby that he loves. Recently, Zimmerman got to check off a bucket list item of getting to visit and see the real-life version of a ship he’s modeled.
