Beloved muppet Elmo has received his COVID-19 jab.

In a PSA video released Tuesday, Elmo’s dad Louie discusses his worries and questions ahead of three-and-a-half-year-old Elmo being vaccinated against the coronavirus.

The PSA, produced in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American Academy of Pediatrics, encourages parents and guardians to seek information about the COVID-19 vaccines.

While children are less likely to become seriously ill from Covid, some do.

CDC data shows more than 20,000 young children have been hospitalized and more than 200 have died.
