Chicken in A Coat


Cut chicken breast

2 cups Flour

1 tsp Paprika

¼ tsp Salt

¼ tsp Pepper

1 tsp Cayenne

½ cup Honey

1 can Biscuits

1 cup buttermilk

5 T melted butter

Vegetable Oil


Make breading for chicken. Mix flour, paprika, salt, pepper, cayenne in a gallon bag. Dip your chicken in the buttermilk (if you do not have buttermilk, mix 1 tsp vinegar with 1 cup whole or 2% milk to make buttermilk, if wont be as thick but it will do the trick). Once dipped, place chicken pieces in bag with breading and toss until fully coated. Put about 2 inches vegetable oil in a skillet, get good and hot before putting chicken in. Cook chicken all the way through, remove from skillet and place on paper towel to drain excess grease. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Wrap chicken in biscuit, brush biscuit with melted butter, salt and paprika. Cook about 12 minutes, until biscuits are golden brown. While still hot, brush biscuits with melted butter and honey.
