It was a welcome fit for royalty as special individuals had a “Night to Shine” in Terre Haute.
“Its super awesome to watch them walk the red carpet,” said Student Ministry Director at Mount Pleasant, Jess Berryhill. “Such joy and enthusiasm, and everyone was so excited.”
More than 120 differently abled people were greeted by cheers, cameras and even the mayor of the city.
Gabe Hills attended and from these sweet moves. Clearly he was ready to dance.
“It is prom night and I am happy to dance, and Chick-fil-a food, and I am born ready and getting crazy.”
The Tim Tebow Foundation started the night to shine nationwide to create a perfect prom for those who face challenges in an imperfect world.
At this event, everyone is a masterpiece.
“It reminds me that everyone is creative in the image of god. That he calls them his masterpiece so for us to celebrate that is such a blessing for us as well,” said Berryhill.
And a blessing for anyone who was their to see the smiles and feel the joy.
