Our friends from Daviess Community Hospital stopped by Good Day Live to talk about new ways the hospital is detecting more breast cancers at an early stage.

The Women’s Center of Daviess Community Hospital offers state-of-the-art 3D digital mammography technology through Genius™ 3D Mammography™ exams, developed by Hologic, Inc., a worldwide leader in Women’s Health.

They were recently awarded the IBCAT (Indiana Breast Cancer Awareness Trust) grant. These funds will be used to assist Indiana residents in our area who are underserved, underinsured, or uninsured. It will be used to help with the costs associated with screenings, biopsies, and other diagnostic procedures.
