TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Demonstrations are expected in the coming days as the first federal executions in nearly two decades are set to resume next week in Terre Haute.
Daniel Lewis Lee is scheduled to be executed for murder and racketeering convictions at the Terre Haute Federal Prison Monday.
Demonstrators for capital punishment should meet at Voorhees Park in Terre Haute.
Demonstrators against capital punishment should meet at MSA Softball.
All demonstrators will be processed between noon and 1:30 p.m., and will then be transported to the prison by a bus.
Cell phones and recording devices will be prohibited.
