TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — CANDLES Holocaust Museum and Education Center will host a free virtual event celebrating the 25th anniversary of its opening Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

Registration is open online to participate in the webinar.

Derek Rhodes will serve as Keynote Speaker. Rhodes is a nationally recognized business and community leader. Currently, Derek works full-time as the director of business strategy for the Miami HEAT.

Special guest will be Dr. Alex Kor, son of two Holocaust survivors, CANDLES’ founder Eva Kor and her husband Michael. He traveled to Auschwitz more than twenty times with his late mother since 1985 and is an active member of the CANDLES Board of Directors, continuing to share his mother’s legacy.
