TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A quartet of rock bands will be visiting Terre Haute this summer to perform at The Mill.
According to a release from The Mill, WINGER will headline the event, which also features the band Firehouse, Jack Russell’s Great White and Steelheart. The show will take place Friday, July 28.
WINGER is known most for their hit songs Seventeen, Headed for a Heartbreak, and Miles Away. Formed in 1987 the band had immediate success with their debut 1988 album which went platinum. At one time the group managed to remain on the Billboard Top 200 for more than 60 weeks with their album In the Heart of the Young.
Firehouse is a band that was at one time labeled the Favorite New Artist in the heavy metal and hard rock genre by the American Music Awards beating out co-nominees Alice in Chains and Nirvana. Known for their songs Love of a Lifetime and Don’t Treat Me Bad, Firehouse has more than 7 million sales worldwide and is considered a “Double Platinum” artist.
Jack Russell’s Great White and the band Steelheart will also take the stage as part of the show.
Tickets will cost $75 for VIP Standing Pit, $45 for VIP with seats allowed, and $25 for general admission and will go on sale Friday, Feb. 24 at 10 a.m. (EST).
