VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Summertime activities are in full swing and that means that soon it will be fair season.

Activities relating to this year’s Vigo County Fair will take place from July 8-17 at the Wabash Valley Fairgrounds. There will be a $5 parking fee at the gate with tickets for all fair events available for purchase at the ticket office.

2021 Miss Vigo County Fair Queen Maya Snider spoke about some of the events fairgoers can expect to see at this year’s fair.

“This year we will have horse pulls, dirt drags, we have the circus, monster trucks, as well as two demolition derbies including the fire and police one, as well as our micro-wrestling,” Snider said.

A family fair pack will also be offered for this year’s fair which includes carnival tickets, event tickets, fair bucks and a parking pass.

Some other upcoming events at the fairgrounds include monster trucks on June 11 beginning at 5 p.m.

There is also a Craft Bazaar running the weekend of June 18 that will feature over 117 vendors.
