TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Fans of classic rock are in for a treat as Led Zeppelin tribute band Get The Led Out is coming to The Mill concert venue in Terre Haute this summer.

According to a press release, Get The Led Out is a Philadelphia-based group consisting of six musicians playing numerous classic rock songs from the band Led Zeppelin. The band will hit the stage at The Mill in Terre Haute on Thursday, August 17.

Utilizing the multi-instrumentalists at their disposal, GTLO re-create the songs in all their depth and glory with the studio overdubs that Zeppelin themselves never performed. When you hear three guitars on the album…GTLO delivers three guitarists on stage. No wigs or fake English accents, GTLO brings what the audience wants…a high energy Zeppelin concert with an honest, heart-thumping intensity.

Get The Led Out said in addition to the classic radio singles fans may initially think of when thinking about the exhaustive Led Zeppelin catalog, the band will play some deeper cuts as well as a special acoustic set.

“Led Zeppelin are sort of the classical composers of the rock era,” lead vocalist Paul Sinclair said. “I believe 100 years from now they will be looked at as the Bach or Beethoven of our time. As cliché as it sounds, their music is timeless.”

Tickets for the Get The Led Out performance will go on sale on Wednesday, April 12 at 10 a.m. in pre-sale fashion and tickets will be available to the general public on Friday, April 14 at 10 a.m.

Tickets cost $65 for VIP Standing Pit, $35 for VIP (seats allowed), and $20 for general admission (seats allowed).
