TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The band responsible for classic hits such as Freebird and Sweet Home Alabama is coming to Terre Haute this fall.

Lynyrd Skynyrd will perform at The Mill event center in Terre Haute Saturday, September 17. The band that USA Today called the “Whiskey-soaked genre’s most popular and influential crew” is ready to rock The Mill for the first time. Original band member Gary Rossington will be joined on stage by Johnny Van Zant, Rickey Medlocke, Mark “Sparky” Matejka, Michael Cartellone, Keith Christopher, Peter Keys, Dale Krantz Rossington, and Carol Chase. The group will play classic hits like Simple Man, Gimme Three Steps and Call Me the Breeze.
Tickets for the performance will go on sale Friday, May 13 at 10 a.m. Prices are $150 for VIP Standing Pit tickets, $100 for VIP (seats allowed), and $45 for General Admission (seats allowed).
