Scotty McCreery had a busy 2015. He released his third studio album this summer, Southern Belle, went on tour and visited CMA Fest too.
“This summer we are out with Rascall Flatts. We’ve been out with Brad Paisley, the Idol Tour. We’ve been out which is great. Here the fans come to you, but good to go to their towns and get to know them that way.
Anyone who knows Scotty knows he has a giving heart. From Operation Christmas Child, to the City of Hope Celebrity Softball Game and his own R.B.I. Foundation. In 2013 alone, Scotty gave more than $50,000 to youth baseball programs. It’s a sport that impacted his life.
“I had two loves growing up, baseball and music. Lucky enough to get to do music as a career now.
Scott works to give gloves, jerseys, bats and balls.
“Everyone should get on the diamond when a kid. That’s where I learned a lot of the fun times I had.
As a boy of summer, he also loves the idea of a good summer song. Feeling It gave him that anthem this year.
“That’s kind of our summer anthem type song fun to do this type of song when the fans are out here in the heat by the water when most folks are feeling it you could say it’s a fun song.”
