TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — An American rock band celebrating 20 years of tunes will be taking the stage in Terre Haute this summer.

The Mill has announced that Blackberry Smoke is coming to town Friday, June 30. Blackberry Smoke consists of vocalist/lead guitarist Charlie Starr, guitarist/vocalist Paul Jackson, bassist/vocalist Richard Turner, drummer Brit Turner, and keyboardist Brandon Still. The band originates from Georgia and tries to embody the state’s rich musical legacy as seen in their latest album release “You hear Georgia.”

The band’s music is described as a mix of southern and country rock. Blackberry Smoke has released a total of seven full-length studio albums with two, 2015’s “Holding All the Roses” and 2016’s “Like an Arrow“, reaching #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums charts. Their 2013 hit single “Pretty Little Lie” reached #46 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

Since the release of their debut album, 2003’s “Bad Luck Ain’t No Crime“, the band has spent a lot of time touring the country and playing music for crowds, at times sharing the stage with bands like ZZ Top, the Zac Brown band, and Eric Church.

Tickets for the Blackberry Smoke concert will go on sale Friday, March 24 at 10 a.m., and can be purchased here. General Admission tickets will cost $25, VIP with seats allowed $45, while VIP Standing Pit tickets will cost $85.
