Rex Barber is the News Director for WTWO/WAWV-TV. He began working here in January 2019, after spending five years as an assignment manager and assistant news director at WJHL-TV in Johnson City, Tenn. and nine years before that as a newspaper journalist. He is always happy to help budding journalists find their first job in journalism, whether they have studied print, web, radio, TV or want a chance to tell a good story. He has helped many journalists, producers, photographers and web producers get the experience they need to achieve their goals.
