Dana Winklepleck can be seen every weekday night on WTWO News at 6, and WAWV at 5pm.

Dana grew up watching WTWO, having lived in Odon, Loogootee and Bloomington.  While a senior at Indiana University, she interned at WTWO and never left.

Dana started out as a weekend “behind the scenes” person and has gone onto hold almost every job in the newsroom.

Over the years, Dana has covered many of the major news stories in the Wabash Valley.  Her reports on a six-week murder trial helped WTWO win an award from the Associated Press.

In her spare time, Dana loves to read and loves to travel.  She lived for a year as an exchange student in the Philippines, spent a semester studying economics in Europe and has visited Japan, Mexico and Honduras, as well as many cities here in the United States.

Dana, her husband Bob, and her step-daughter live in Sullivan County.
