WASHINGTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Folks looking to cool down and enjoy some summertime fun can do so for free at the Waterworld of Washington Wednesday.
Due to the high temperatures expected, the Mayor of Washington has declared a free swim day at their pool and splash pad facility.
Those wishing to take advantage should know that the pool prohibits bringing in any inflatable floaties or pool toys. The facility also has a capacity of 400 people, so should that capacity be reached, folks would no longer be allowed in until others have left. Click here for the full rules at the facility.
The pool is open from 10:30 a.m. until 8 p.m.
While other temperature-related free swim days may be announced, currently the next planned free swim day is set for Saturday, August 6.
