BRAZIL, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Brazil Rotary Club capped off a fun-filled Fourth of July Weekend on Sunday morning with a public worship service under the pavilion in Forest Park. The service was led by Minister Rob Dispennett, who is also current President-Elect of the Rotary Club.
Over fifty people showed up under the pavilion to sing, worship and engage in fellowship. Minister Dispennett said he was pleased to see all those who came.
“We put those fireworks up into the air last night and celebrated that freedom, and as Christians we’re celebrating another kind of freedom. That’s the freedom from sin and the freedom to live in the grace and mercy that Jesus would write it,” Minister Dispennett said.
The Rotary Club hopes that next year’s Fourth of July Celebration will be even larger.
