Wabash Valley schools closing

Closings and Delays

FARMERSBURG, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – While many Wabash Valley schools have decided to close due to the COVID-19 virus, a few have chosen to stay open until further notice. School corporations that have decided to stay open include: Vincennes Community School District and Martin County Schools.

As of Friday afternoon, Governor J.B. Pritzker declared that all Illinois schools would be closed. The following Indiana schools in the Wabash Valley that are closed include:

  • Vermillion County
  • Southwest Parke Community School Corporation
  • Vigo County
  • Clay County
  • Greene County
  • Sullivan County
  • North Knox School District
  • Daviess County
  • Shakamak Schools
