Summary/Objective
The assembler performs repetitive work-station or line-assembly operations to mass produce automotive components or to assemble those components into a completed assembly by performing the following duties.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Summary/Objective
The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
  • Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts
  • Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
  • Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as programmable controllers.
  • Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
  • Monitors machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
  • Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.

Job Description

Summary/Objective
The quality control engineer position works directly with quality assurance supervisors, analyzing manufacturing processes for improvement using various methods of testing and inspection.

  • Performs quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including customer quality manuals and company quality records.
  • Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process change.
  • Reviews all purchased products or components and provides input to the decision to accept the product and future purchases from the vendor.
  • Documents data obtained during all quality activities consistent with company policies and procedures.

  • Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality activities and provides recommended process improvements to management.
