Good news, there is no fog outside! We are instead waking up to spotty shower and storm activity. A warm front set up to the north of us helps rise temps to the upper 80's. Lots of moisture in the air makes it feel uncomfortable with high humidity. Heat and moisture create a instable atmosphere supporting spotty storms. We will hold on to the chance of isolated thunderstorms today and tonight. A few lingering storms again are possible Friday as well. One word can sum up the weather this weekend...HOT! Temps will hit the lower 90's as the jet stream will bump further north allowing hot south air to settle in. Heat Index could climb close to 100.
