A WINTER STORM WARNING for much of the area now until early afternoon on Wednesday. Snow will be heavy at times for Tuesday night and could become a winter mix in the southern areas overnight. Winds from the northwest at 10-20 will blow some of the snow with a low of 22. The snow will end on Wednesday. Snow totals will range from 3"-6" in the southern area with much of the area getting 5"-8" with the areas far north seeing 8"-10". Wednesday night will be bitter cold with a low f zero and wind chills to below zero. Thursday will be bitter cold with a high only near 10. Friday stays cold with a high of 18 and the low Friday morning could be a little below zero! A system will pass south of the area for the weekend but it could get close enough to bring some snow to the area for the weekend. It will be dry and cold to start next week.
